Your files stay yours.
rclone-backup is a personal backup tool used only by its developer. This policy explains what the app accesses and how it is handled.
Data accessed
When signed in, the app accesses files in that Google Drive account only within the “Backups” folder that it creates and manages. This is limited to the owner's backup zip files.
How information is used
Information from Google Drive is used only to upload, verify, and delete the owner's backup files in the “Backups” folder.
Storage and security
No user data is stored on any server operated by me. The OAuth login token is stored only in a configuration file on my own computer.
Sharing
Google user data is never sold, shared, transferred, or used for advertising, analytics, or AI/ML training.
Google API compliance
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Revoke access
Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions.
